Stan Cobb was raised in North Texas. Stan and his family spent years in the Texas Panhandle making Taos, NM and Cuchara, CO his retreats. Stan was a day work cowboy and now makes his home in rural Timbercreek Canyon, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle. He holds a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in three different disciplines none of which included Art except in minor roles. Yet, he has been creating art since childhood. Stan is a now a full-time artist, writer, speaker, minister and actor. His home and Sobremesa Studios is now open for visitors by appointment. He’s a painter of the west and southwest. Welcome!
